I started selling Barefoot Books in 2002 when my husband was posted to Germany with the army and I decided to make the most of the opportunity and change career path which had been office based. I wanted something that would be more flexible around family life as my daughter was one and a half at the time and I was already aware of Barefoot Books as we are all keen readers and I loved the fact that these books were so different to anything else on the market, especially the bright colourful artwork which catches the childrens' attention. Since then my family has grown and we are now based in Scotland where I have continued my Barefoot journey. I hope to see you at my forthcoming events.
